The Ronde van Oost Lancashire is not a sportive, but it's a 50mi loop with friends. This is the first road event I've done and probably one of the strangest there is, it's a bit like the Paris Roubaix with the amount of cobbles roads it takes in. and the route also takes in one of the steepest cobbled climbs in the area, its steep enough to have a had rail all the way up, there was only a handful of people that made it up all the way without stopping.
This event has the best feed station in the world 'fact', its the only feed station I have been the that gives you pie's and cake. Lucky the feed station was at the top of a big hill, and it give me time to digest the pies and cake before hitting the next climb.
Great Ride, lost of fun, and interesting climbs :) Looking forward to next year.
